Acolyte Applications

Acolyte Applications is a development company that works with non-profits and educators to create applications and digital systems at an affordable rate. Not many small businesses have the resources to create magnificent web experiences on a budget. Acolyte partners with these good-hearted people to develop beautiful, hard-working apps on a budget.

Logo

Branding Step 1: the logo. Drawing inspiration from calculus formulas, we created a sleek brand that shows the connection between Acolyte and a client in an simple, abstract mark.

  • curved volumes are gorgeous shapes, but they don’t appear naturally in digital spaces. The limit calculation shows a perspective grid being calculated by a series of straight lines connecting two points.

  • The formula results in a sleek letter A. You know, for Acolyte? How clever.

  • How many bonus points do you earn for being able to quote mean girls when you talk about a logo design? The limit does not exist.

App icon and UI

Since Acolyte is a software technology company, I ensured that they would be equipped with a solid app icon and a starting point for UI in any future apps and web builds. This was an integral design piece for branding a software company.

  • The UI is designed with sleek, simple lines

  • The app icon conveys the distinct Acolyte brand and is easily visible on all phone sizes and screen types. QLED display not required.

  • All UI brainstorming was included at no additional cost.

BONUS FEATURES

For some extra flair, I designed a pack of icons that can be used site-wide for branded storytelling. Isn’t it nice to get a bonus pack of custom icons for free?

These icons are easily implemented across the Acolyte website, as well in invoices, diagramming, or client worksheets. Branding is often enhanced with the small touches, and this tailored pack of icons allows Acolyte to convey their brand throughout the life of each project.
