A proposal for branding, video, and awesomeness.

Hey there, ACSM. My name is Zachary Nelson. I'm a creative director, designer, and illustrator from South Bend Indiana. I've done work for everything from skyscrapers to cabinet makers, and I'm ready to make your social media campaign awesome. Awesome is kind of a vague word, so I'll be more specific: I want to bring my professional experience as a creative director into this project, to create a well-branded, exciting, and overall cool campaign to your following. We're here to show people that science is...well...awesome.
I will make a cohesively branded, high quality, visually compelling campaign that speaks to your target audience.
- That campaign will include 3 longer videos, at 2-3 minutes each.
- The campaign will include 6-9 shorter videos, at approx 30 seconds each. They will be snippets pulled out of the longer videos, but still work really well on their own.
- I will take and edit 30 photos that reflect the above material, for use with campaigning.
- I will also edit 6 energetic graphics that reflect the brand of the campaign. You need video thumbnails and graphics to publicize this campaign, and I want to make sure some solid still imagery with graphics is included. An example is below.

Your proposal requested that the cost be broken down as much as possible. Unfortunately, I can't do that on a campaign-based project. I'm a productivity fiend and I've done everything in my power to combine tasks, increase effectivity, etc. If you would like to know what the project would cost with a different scope, please contact me directly and I can requote the project.
The price covers the scope of work listed above and the cost of compact camera equipment (the same equipment used for the above videos). If you have specific camera needs (e.g. shooting with RED cameras) the cost of the project will need to be requoted.
Total Project Investment: $7549*
*price does not include travel expenses, which will be covered by ACSM. I am willing to have a portion of my expenses go directly to a more direct flight from South Bend, IN (my hometown).
This is a no-brainer. I spent 7 years working in video before I switched to design and branding full-time. Now I specialize in running campaigns that incorporate videos and graphics, turning them into memorable experiences. As an athletic-minded person myself I'm ready to get into the mind of your consumer - in a sense, I'm your target audience! I'm a casual runner/rock climber/snowboarder who doesn't think too much about the nitty-gritty science-y stuff, so I can offer you a solid opinion on what will and won't resonate with your audience.
I also have plenty of experience. I will deliver a small list of people who can vouch for me via e-mail (web proposals are awesome, but I need to keep my clients' contact info secure). These are people whose projects are visible above and would love to chat.
Finally, you need this campaign to just be cool. I mean come on, we're partnering with Adidas here. We need this campaign to blow people's socks off. It needs to be fun, interesting, and energetic. We're not here to sell kitchen chairs. We're here to make people excited about health, fitness, and science, so these videos need to just have a raw cool factor. I believe that element bleeds through in my portfolio.
