Graphic Arts Camp RESOURCES HEADERArtboard 1 copy 3.jpg

Note: I am still adding updates to this page. I will continue to add resources and content throughout the weekend. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Graphic Arts Camp

It's been a blast to have your students in camp! I've compiled some resources so that you can access the projects your student has worked on, and find new ways to learn and spark their enthusiasm for graphic art. I'm currently editing a recap video of the week that I will post on this page. Keep an eye out for that this weekend.

Project Files

After camp on Friday, I will be downloading your student's files and uploading them to dropbox so that you have a record of what they've learned and created.

Resources for Future Learning

ADOBE SPARK

Your student used Adobe Spark to make custom graphics and their own webpages. The ability to make digital graphics and printable posters was a huge hit! I recommend helping them to create an account so that they can make graphics for future projects. I will leave the project files from this week online for the next 3 months, so that you can download and view your projects.

  • Password: Camps@Bethel

Spark is also available as a mobile app where your student can create graphics, videos and much more. I recommend creating an account for them to create future projects.

logo RESOURCES

We used a few websites to download and combine images and text into logo designs. Here are some resources for your campers to use if they want to keep creating graphics and logos.

  • flaticon.com - library of editable icons

  • fonts.google.com - free, gorgeous fonts

  • logo.squarespace.com - easy way to create logos and mockup logo ideas

Procreate

Procreate is an iPad app that is incredibly powerful. It has a lot of tools for creating drawings, illustrations, designs, logos, and more. It’s used by many professionals, and it’s only 10 dollars. If you have an iPad and an apple pencil, it’s a great investment.

PHOTOSHOP

You can purchase a basic version of photoshop for $79.99. This is a one-time purchase, rather than a subscription. There's an education discount that allows you to bundle it with Premiere Elements (a video editing software).
